Dr. Steven Hodes in a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa., with a B.A. in Religious Studies. In 1974, he received his M.D. degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y. He did his Medical Internship and Residency at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in Bronx. Dr. Hodes received his Fellowship in Gastroenterology from Mount Sinai Medical Center and Bronx V.A. Hospital.
Dr. Hodes was the former President of the medical staff at Raritan Bay Medical Center and is presently Senior Attending in Medicine both at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, N.J., and John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, N.J. Dr. Hodes serves as Gastroenterology Consultants’ Irritable Bowel Syndrome specialist. He has been listed as Top Doctor with Castle Connelly for many years.
Dr. Hodes published his first book, “Metaphysician on Call for Better Health: Metaphysics and Medicine for Mind, Body and Spirit.” He lectures extensively on the subject of metaphysics and healing, writes a syndicated column, “Meta-Physician On Call,” and was recently featured on News 12 New Jersey, 12 to Your Health.
